Sometimes users want to define maximum order quantity for certain items and do not allow any orders to exceed that maximum. TheOrderExchange support this feature.

First user need to enable the feature of validating orders based on maximum quantity for the required retailer.

To do that click on the cog > Retailer Settings > Select the retailer

Now select the Advanced Settings. Select the settings Validate on Max Order Quantity. Make it true and Save.

Now users can setup maximum order quantity for each item and save

Now you can enter the maximum quantity. If any retailer orders more than the max order quantity the system will fail to validate the order and raise validation error.

Then users can accept a different quantity based on the max quantity and process ahead.
