If the same item code has two different barcodes we can use one as the barcode in the item details of the order exchange system while the other is set as alternative barcode.

When the system matches the item codes it first checks the barcode passed through the Retailer with the Item barcode. If there is no match found it then checks with the alternative barcode. Therefor we can use the second barcode for the same item code in the alternative barcode field.

To enter that please select the cog on the top --> Item --> Item Details. select the item code which requires the alternate barcode and type the second barcode in the alternative barcode field.
